Use case for credits in this game (May 4th 2020)

What exactly can you use credits for in game now since all cosmetics for myself at least seem to be unlocked as I recently bought the collectors or creators edition of the game when it was on sale. 

I know a few things are locked behind progression such as a maul and obi-wan kenobi skin which I hope is just charater progression such as leveling them up, or campaign progress which I have yet to start (already saw YouTube videos and it didnt really impress me as much as I hoped when it first came out, I think).

Other than that I dont really understand what I can unlock or work towards in this game besides leveling up my star cards and trying to get new weapons (however I do that).

Thanks for any feedback. I am a noob and new player so I am sorry If I have missed anything.

    As far as most know, credits were never really addressed once the Celebration Edition came out. I have almost 300,000 of them stored up without any use. A lot of the "Event" related cosmetic items such as Maul, Kenobi, Grevious, were put behind a kill wall (e.g. 5000 kills for the Darth Maul Skin). Sadly, I don't think credits will ever become useful now that support has ended.

    We can only hope.

    Ah okay that makes sense. Just a reminder of "progress" from a previous update I guess.

    Its a shame but its also something that shows although they are ending support for the game to work on, what I presume would be either battlefiled 5, or whatever they have in the pipeline, I hope we get something similar to this in the next star wars game as I am having a BLAST playing the multiplayer. Sure it hasnt topped the origonal Battlefront 2, but they have come a long way.

    Feel your pain

    Around 1.2 million credits and 800 or so crystals.

    But, its the most fun I've had playing a Star Wars game in decades, so there's that 🙂
