Try porting the origin ports on your firewall and router, this is to see if its network program stopping the commuinuication.
Here are the ports: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/
Also worth to do is a clean boot your PC, this is to see if there is a program stopping.
Here is a link on how you do it: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
I hope this information helps.🙂

Didn't work either but i was told by support it could be because my processor doesnt meet the minimum requirements, but i don't see why that would give me an error about connection.

Hey @3APOANHY
Can you upload a DXDiag to us.
What kind of internet do you use?

- Anonymous8 years agoI contacted supported and I know my processor is lower than the requirement but I just don't see how requirements would prevent a game from activating

So I decided to check if I could play another ea game, so I loaded up star wars battlefront 1(which I meet the requirements for) and it gives me the same error. Also when I click the trial exe for battlefront 2, it comes up at the top 'to play Display name field missing from registry, you must first activate it on your EA account'. Why does it need activated in the first place when I have already bought it?
