- @FearfulWarpII I like pushing the objectives, usually with a heavy loadout. I do like the shield in that regard as it does a solid job absorbing some fire. I think this is why I never liked GA. It's an objective mode alright, but most don't push the objective but rather farm it. So I get farmed if I push the objective usually without support lol.
In Supremacy, I'll transition to either tank to knock the door in on a point, speeder or Droideka for capturing points, or a trooper reinforcement.
Favorite reinforcement tends to be Clone Commando, Commando Droid, Sith Trooper, Death Trooper, etc.
In co-op, I'll transition from Heavy to a hero. I normally just go heavy and aid my team by taking out heroes or guarding choke points with my supercharged sentry. Occasionally I will go commando droid or Sith trooper to try to flank the enemy.
My heavy is currently lv 925
Love the officer...lead the way, encourage everyone, play the objective and love counting the creds...not to mention he can hold on his own and take down the goliaths at times...just like me in real life 😇
Who needs heroes...
Update: *Sigh* scrap all this what I said about becoming a Heavy main. I'll keep being a specialist main xD
Especially when paired with resourceful, I can use the EE-4 (infiltration) very often in no time, so run and gun still feels very dynamic. Like in the Hardcore Henry movie with switching between weapons on the go.
Also this ability supports first person play the best.
Yes, I really am playing in first person only now, the aim is just much better and I can use the cover more clever like for holes to peek through which I couldn't see like that in third person.
The greatest problem I see when playing as Heavy is that this class often isn't able to deal sufficient damage against reinforcements when not using the laser gatling.
I lose out against them so often in situations where I know I would've easily won with the EE-4 or A280-CFE. Or just by playing as assault with A280 and shotgun.
Heavy is maybe fun against regular infantrymen, but against reinforcments the task gets a lot more difficult. Reinforcements are simply part of the game too.
The damage potential of the specialist is really what I miss here the most and not to mention that this kills me other infantrymen faster too of course.
I like using assault and heavy.
i like to rush objectives with assault a280, 3 round burst with marksman card (my favorite card, instant cooldown on headshot kills) ion grenade is the truth. but also i rep #tripminetrollgang with specialist in blast, while also using a280cfe explosive shot and hardened infiltration

has to be the Heavy class for me i think he is sitting at 550 whist my other classes are 100-200

You’ll almost certainly never see me being a Specialist. Rarely Heavy, if I want to do some extreme damage. As Assault and Officer I’m an aggressive player, but I also am a good defender of objectives. Disrupt the MTT? Got it. Plant that bomb? I’m on my way. And a pesky starfighter? I’m the best pilot in the galaxy. - EA_Rtas5 years ago

Considering I love playing Clone Wars era matches, I love playing Clone Commando or Commando droid on the front lines.
Mostly I'll play Assault or Officer if a support is needed. Objective Centered. I hope so. 😉
(Seriously, there is where I should be.)
