What if Battlefront 2 gets a revival by DLC?

Would you not enjoy that? 🙌
Despite the fact that Battlefront 2 (by EA) gets nearly zero support, the servers are always full because it IS still the latest Battlefront game which has an undeniably large fan base who kept playing the game regardless of 1hp bug and occasional cheater invasions.

Loyal fans do complain about a lot of things; but, only because they have nowhere else to go. Thus, I believe this situation can be turned into a win-win situation by releasing a DLC which could offer merits to both EA and the players. The income of a DLC can fund the devs and loyal players can finally get the maps, weapons, reinforcements, heroes & villains they've been hoping to see in this game. I think all sides do deserve a second chance in this.

Let's not ignore each other and make the peace by turning this beautiful game into what it was originally intended to be. A simple act of good will can give us all the courage we need to trust each other for the next Battlefront game to come.
Yes, mistakes were made... Yes, protests were harsh. Yes, covid ruined everyone's plans and even their lives. Yes, of course, gaming industry is a monster that devours everything that belongs to yesterday; but, a classic like Battlefront 2 should be treated as a classic and loyalty of its fans should not be punished by abandonement.

In my honest opinion, it won't hurt anyone to revive this game for the better and show that EA does care about their loyal customers who are ready to support and appreciate their work. This could be our second chance to shake hands in mutual agreement. What's there to lose?

interesting.. if you guys really plan to do something more, it would be a rejoice

if thats the case, please dont forget about us offline players

  • @EA_Atic well why not? The game is still alive and well on consoles. And thanks to new Disney+ shows....popularity is only going up! I think some love is due to BF2....again.

  • @EA_Atic Would you happen to know anything about it? I find it hard to believe EA absndoned both bf2 (a gold mine that just waited to ve claimed through a reqoek of the microtransaction system to skins) and bf3 in favor of battlefield. Especially after 2042. One of the most popular titles, with bf2s great comback stories, yet among the most ignored ea titles. It seems like a gold mine, I don’t get it.

Who are excited about the Obi-Wan will be released tomorrow?

    I AM!! 🙌

  • @DarthanellesRevival? They didn’t even finish with instant action 😒 half the game’s vehicles and modes aren’t there and crait and bespin are missing. How is that a “complete” vision? A revival should include finishing instant action first and foremost, and then adding stuff like galactic conquest and what not.

  • Please EA, get us out of the content with the latest characters from the star wars series 👍

  • the game is 5 years old. The only games that last that long with active development are those that have a payback policy. Whether through Loot Boxes, skins, pay to release characters sooner, etc... It was EA's idea initially, to create a definitive game that would last for years, or even decades, of development. It's how the industry works. No money, no motivation.

Even DLCs can't make the game last that long. Look at battlefield 3 or 4. Also, for DLCs it would be necessary to have a much larger playerbase. The best possibility today would be to make the game Free to play, add a lootbox system and release new content.

Disney banned EA from putting lootboox system, after the scandal it had at launch. it just won't happen.
