What is the best gun for assault class?

Hello Guys, I am having a problem, I don't know which gun I need to pick for assault. I have them all but which one of them is the best? Plz answer, thanks :D

I play mostly with the CR-2 (with nigthvision and reduced recoil) in close to medium range combat.

For medium to large combat take the EL-16HFE
