What we want for Star Wars Battlefront 2

To the team working on Star Wars Battlefront 2:

Hi guys,

My names Tait. I love Star Wars and I think the new Battlefront game is heading in the right direction. However, I have a few things that I would like added or changed:

  • The addition of an actual squad system where you can ‘squad up’, chat and work together (like in EAs Battlefield)
  • Make points easier to obtain so that it gives more people a chance to be different classes, vehicles and heroes; or make things cost less points so that we see more diversity on the battlefield
  • Potentially have vehicles to just jump into instead of just using points
  • The Galactic conquest fight on Theed is very biased to the Separatists way – needs to be changed
  • The addition of a proper ‘instant action’ mode that uses splitscreen offline – Like from the original battlefront made by Pandemic
  • The addition of a conquest game mode
  • The addition of a Primary and Secondary weapon

    I agree with all of this except for Galactic Assualt being unbalanced as far as gameplay goes. The only advantage I see them having is that the droids are harder to see on Theed. Other then that it seems very well balanced to me. You may have to explain more as to what exactly you find is unbalanced about it.

    Also I'd also I agree I'd prefer a more classic approach to secondary weapons where you can switch to your secondary weapon and use it freely as much as you want. But I guess secondary weapons are in the game just in the form of star cards but you can only use them for a short amount time and they must recharge. Not a huge fan of star cards.

    Yeah I guess everyone i was playing with as a clone on Theed were perhaps not playing the objective enough. In all honesty... i just wanted a better graphics version of the original Pandemic Battlefront

    @kwhiskey13I thought it was just my old eyes having trouble spotting droids. Thanks for saying that; I feel better now.
