Wow! That seems to be a very serious BUG, but I'm unaware of any similar reports.
Does your computer meet the minimum requirements for this game? I know no EA_Staff has come here to your aid yet, but if you can provide your DxDiag to them, they may spot something that doesn't meet the requirements or that is not updated (like graphics drivers).
