When will battlefront 2 die?
At what point will this game start to slowly lose its playerbase? IMO this game would probably die out when next gen comes. Not too many people are gonna keep playing a game in a broken state full of bugs and cheaters.

No, in all seriousness, I think it'll continue to thrive in certain modes until a similar game is brought out. Despite the bugs and cheaters.
- @AccurateThings Dunno. I have no plans on stopping. Just switched from pS4 to PC so having fun unlocking everything again and playing with mods.
- @AccurateThings I'm guessing you are on the PC if you are encountering lot of cheaters?
I play the game regularly and will continue to do so until a new SW game comes out. its already losing players
Hopeful not anytime soon, but I do already see a decrease in the player base. Finding matches early in the week in certain game modes can be a challenge.
Not until Battlefront 3 is announced or we get so far into PS5 that we are getting gameplay that pretty much blows away anything on PS4.
Battlefront 2 is one of the free PS Plus games for June, so be ready for a mass influx of players on PS4. Last December, Titanfall 2 was one of the free PS Plus games. Not even joking, there was 80-90K people online on PS4 in NA up from a typical average of 1-2K. I played this week and there is still regularly 4K online. Titanfall 2 is a 2016 game. I expect Battlefront 2 will get a similar major increase in players on PS4 in June which should increase it's overall long term nightly numbers.

Its a shame that the game will not get any further updates but I'm sure it Will continue to get players playing for a long time to come. #RollOnBattlefront3
Eh probably not for a long time I mean Star Wars battlefront 2015 still has dedicated players & you can still find matches there.
So I am going to assume until the game servers get shutdown/shutoff but even then probably won’t happen for awhile since the PS5 & the Xbox series X are going to be backwards compatible/able to play games from this gen.
I mean pretty sure the game will be backwards compatible with the PS5 & Xbox series x if not I will be shocked lol.
