why cant you block rey's mind trick?

In Star Wars Battlefront 2, blocking as a lightsaber wielder stops force abilities, however when this comes to Rey's mind trick ability, you cannot block it, thus leaving you (and potentially your whole team) as an easy target. Is this a bug/glitch, or if was intentional, could this please be nerfed?
