The A.I. is very easily manipulated. You can lure Heroes & Villains into time out areas (if you are say low on health or outmatched). When you know the A.I. spawn points you can then get an absurd amount of battle points to level up at a tremendous rate. The most dangerous A.I. are the Rocket Troopers and I make it my business to kill them first (as they are deadly accurate with their Rocket Launcher and it will result in certain death for your Hero or Villain). The only A.I. that I find to be insanely dumb are the tanks, as they can somehow shoot in any direction and even beneath themselves. The key to the game (just like any game mode) is playing the objective and having competent teammates. If you do all of that you should have no problem whatsoever in getting 100-300 eliminations in most games (as some maps will not permit such high scores unless one purposefully allows the A.I. to advance phases).

Everyone just use officer turrets and you're fine. The AI is not programmed to take any cover or focus your turret very much. Not so when it's yourself who moves out of cover.
Also when you shoot from cover, the AI's hit chance is comparably poor. An example is the Starkiller Base map as defending stormtrooper when camping at the objective on the right side. Bring a LMG or fast sniper rifle and you're good. Just mind that visibility restrictions don't apply to the AI and they can sort of pre-aim even if a human player per game mechanics wouldn't know that you're there.
