Will battlefront 2 have online split screen co op?

In the previous battlefront the only split screen local co op that was offered was in offline modes only. I was wondering if split screen online will be made available for battlefront 2.

This would be a nice feature to add. They have it for Gears of War 4 and it's awesome to have. Sadly doesn't look like that will be a option atleast not on release day since they don't even support regular online co-op. For now we will only have regular split-screen.

I agree! My friend has a PS4 and since there is no crossplay, we can’t play together. This would make it so much better. You should just be able to use the whatever player 1 has. If P1 has pulse cannon, P2 can use it too.

From what I’ve heard there is a co op mode on ps4 that lets you play with friends. Unfortunatly its not on pc yet.
