Yes, the game is worth to play, especially with mods offline.(do not use them online)
I just hope that Battlefront II will come back since the game is incomplete and many things are lacking in this game including private matches and crossplay. It deserves to be finished so we can have a proper finished game for once instead of a new broken, incomplete and rushed game at launch but of course people won't understand this...

@Huskii96 I’ve had this game since pre release; the long and short answer is; yes, but ONLY because of the Star Wars franchise immersion; NOT because of the gameplay.
Obviously all of us who are Star Wars fans will always have a draw to this game because of it. That is an inherent asset this game has; no matter how bad it is people will play if for nothing else than they’re fans of the franchise.
as for gameplay … oof … this game saw its peak at about mid life. It had a lot of potential but the Devs couldn’t figure out the logic to balance various gameplay modes plus the added way too many OP enforcers and as a result of all of the late in life meddling left the gameplay in a really sorry state.
Enjoy the visuals and the character immersion but just know the gameplay will be incredibly clumsy.

I actually just played a couple rounds of Co-Op two days ago, after not playing since Christmas.
As others have said, there are still many bugs, glitches, and exploits.
But as others have also said, the game *does* scratch that Star Wars "itch".
My advice would be to lower your expectations and play casually. If you are looking to clear Milestones/Trophies/Achievements, know that you will be in for a *LOT* of grinding.
