You mean the apprentice rank etc.? I don't see how it serves any deeper purpose except indicating how long someone was active on the origin forums and how much experience and knowledge one might have.

We don't "approve" any roles that that is not champion or Hero, all other roles are an automated system with criteria. Yeah Guru is correct was thinking pro for some reason.
Hero's are users that gone above and beyond on the forums helping other players and helped build up the community.

Oh Atic, come on! You know it's a BUG. I already reported it, unless you and Ataashi hadn't talked about it earlier. It seems @DrunkyMacGreed is facing the same issue I do all the time. Whenever I level up I'm already at 90%+ for the next level, but then I hang at 100% for a looooooooooooooooong time. This has been happening for as long as I can tell. But I've been getting many levels anyway, so I don't think they are biased against us bug reporters @DrunkyMacGreed , because well, I'm very harsh sometimes and I managed to get to Expert level not long ago.

I understand that, however the reply was towards an issue which is real, and it seemed to dismiss the issue as something that's working as intended. But:
- hanging at 100% for quite a long time, even though you're getting many different types of "scores" in this website (XP Gained, Me Toos, Solutions, Topics Read, Number of Times Accessed, Topics Created, XP Granted, Replies Posted, etc.)
- suddenly getting a level to find out you're already past 90% progress to the next level
- to take a while to finally reach 100%
- and then to endure the stalemate at 100% all over again, rinse and repeat
This can only be a BUG. I reported that to EA Ataashi I think mid 2019 and he replied to me saying he would pass forward the issue. Nothing came out of it yet though.
@DrunkyMacGreed it would be interesting to know if when you finally level up you're already with a lot of the progress towards the following level completed. That's what happens to me in every level since before Guide rank if I'm not mistaken. I really don't remember when this started to happen, but it sure was a long time ago and I already got many levels since.

DICE Team@RogueZeroRendar @Kanrei13 the 100% part is not a bug and is working as intended has been confirmed with platform owner on this when I/we have had conversations with them on it. Like I said above there are more than just XP that counts for ranks.
What you are describing is 100% working as intended and has been since AHQ open up.

Also, Rogue and everyone else, I believe that the jump from 100% to another percent is not a bug - if you are on 100% waiting for the certain amount of accepted solutions, XP is not being denyied - so the XP gained in that time would be carried over to the next level. This would be the same for you Rogue, you said it yourself you get regular accepted solutions though, but I'd assume you need more solutions to level up on higher levels so therefore it would take longer for you (but probably still faster than us at the rate you go)

And you tell me this is working as intended? Better it be a BUG you still haven't solved then admitting to a terrible design choice honestly. Also you sounded like the way this works is more then obvious, so why Ataashi hadn't fill me in in how obvious it is that our progress always displays a deceiving number? I had said this happened mid 2019, but checking the dates here you can see I've sent him this in early 2019.
A progress display that stays for a looooong time in 100%, and then jumps from 0 to around 90 instantly when you level up can't be working as intended. If this is intended, whoever came up with such a misleading system shouldn't be doing this job.
@HCarbonic There's no such thing as an inferior opinion. Please do bring your opinions. It's because of such opinions that I take notice of new BUGs and Issues all the time. I'm not all knowing when it comes to BUGs and issues, far from it, and if it weren't for people helping me, I wouldn't know so much about the BUGs like I do.

I don't have a particular problem with this forum, as I've used some that were far worse (i.e. vBulletin software run by people that didn't have the first clue how to install MODs) but I would be curious to know what software this forum uses because it doesn't look like any I've ever used before.

I expected this to be a way to get recognition from EA and to show them one is capable and reliable to help fix the issues with a game. I was so wrong. It's not about trying to be the most active, helpful, and be really good at BUG reporting. You must play along, only then they'll review if you have enough participation to then be granted a few miniscule perks that actually don't help in solving BUGs at all. When even an EA Game Changer, who could directly enter in touch with the "guys" that test the game, reports an issue and that issue is not patched for ages, and he himself is not asked anything else in all this time from anyone working on the fix, this shows how they are not willing to share the bugfixing process with anyone.
So I just said a bunch of things that in the end confirm exactly what you said: This XP system means nothing.
