XP WEBSITE

Anyone can tell me when we start using the "XP" we have in this website.

  • You mean the apprentice rank etc.? I don't see how it serves any deeper purpose except indicating how long someone was active on the origin forums and how much experience and knowledge one might have.

It's based on XP earned recently, like maybe earned in the last month ago or something.

If you're inactive for awhile (or just don't earn much) it goes down.

Hell, I've been on top a couple times the last few years.

@SuperSpyUU Yes, that. I was top of every board a week ago, now I’m at the bottom of BF2. I don’t really care though. As long as I’m helping

“ Ahh yes, the typical it doesn't work to 100% perfect then they should be fired attitude that we have in today's gaming community's, ignoring the fact on what else they have worked on or the situation at hand. Not okay and a very toxicity mindset.”

Oh my gosh. This. This this this.

To all you ranters about how bad BF2 is. To everyone who put aside the devs efforts. This. *snip* I don’t get angry on these forums. This is the first time. We had a dedicated team from DICE that saved a game that made some major problems with micro transactions, added more content over THREE YEARS, and tried their best to fix bugs. At times, there have been disappointments, *snip* - the beauty on Felucia and Scarif; memories made with mates trying out new stuff on the halls of Kamino you know by the back of your hand; working to improve a project when most of the vocal customers are against you.

I’ll let you know, I am the vocal minority here. People usually only speak up when they have a problem. There majority of the player base lies with me. Thank you for this game. Thank you for the memories, for the time - mine and yours, thank you for an experience I’ll never forget despite how hard others would like.

    Thank you.

EDIT by EA_Jason: Don't bypass the swear filter and don't be rude.

This is sort of related but kinda not

Why do people suddenly lose xp on the leaderboard? @HCarbonic used to have like 200 and now he has 80, I had 150 before and now I have 120. Is the leaderboard bugged or is there a reason for this that I don’t realise.

Yep, it's a monthly leaderboard like others already responded here. You can change it going to settings:

Then here you open the preferences tab:

Then you choose the XP option under Preferences, and on the right you'll have the preferences for the leaderboard. There are 2 leaderboard settings there, but I honestly have no idea why and which is the one that truly affects the appearing leaderboard. Well, anyway, you may change the time window the leaderboard tracks XP there.
Also the different subforums have different leaderboards, so if you go to the BUG reporting section the leaderboard will look completely different then the one here.

    There is no English setting
    Not Us English
    English English
    I would prefer Australian English
But would take English over US English 🙃
