Be great to see this fixed - but surely it would make more sense to announce a fix in the official bug thread to the people that reported it, rather than on a completely separate platform (in this case Reddit)?

I ended-up returning the game because of the stars in VR, but bought it back after the price drop figuring they probably would fix this sooner or later. Well, I'm happy to report that it has been addressed and the improvement in immersion is very tangible. There is still a kind of muddiness that looks like bad dithering in some areas, but that is a tiny complaint compared to the overall improvement in the star field which I view as very acceptable now. I am also seeing some performance hiccups now, especially at the beginning of a new scene that weren't there before, but so far these seem to get under control quick enough. So all-in-all a very welcome update and a big thank-you to the team for doing this for us VR fans!
FINALLY this game is playable in VR.
