I first started PC gaming back in the 90s with Xwing CDROM version being one of the first games I got into. Been playing X Wing Alliance with the 2020 upgrade in prep for Squadrons these past weeks. I also decided on fabricating my own HOTAS capable gaming char to get the best experience possible (pic attached). I'll definitely check out TCA...looking forward to playing Squadrons with old timers like myself.
I loved the original X-Wing, Tie Fighter, XvsT and X-Wing Alliances games.
I had great fun with those back in the day either with their single player campaigns or multiplayer.
Re-visiting space combat, but with today's graphics and VR with HOTAS is going to be a real treat. I just hope this isn't a one off and restarts the series, the film series and the animated series have some great space battles that would be amazing to play on this game engine.
I would be great to be able to make skirmish missions for friends like we could in the old games as well, but I guess we will see how this takes off 😉
Chair looks awesome. Just got my HOTAS delivered yesterday. Can't wait to bust it out. I loved the A-Wing's back then.
