Forum Discussion
Hey Guys,
I have a quick question for you. I have A PS4 Pro and I'm using the PS4 Thrustmaster HOTAS. There is no place for a mic/headphone jack. How do I hook up my headset?
I know I probably should have looked it up on YouTube or in another forum. But you guys that have answered seem pretty grounded and can give me straight up answer.
I'm slowly going through the missions right now. Really loving the game so far. How about you?
Thanks guys.
Im in it like you, can’t use my headphones when playing with buddies so I end up having to play with the controller which sucks after using the HOTAS. You will need a USB hub, don’t recommend that you buy the clip on type if you have an external HDD connected to the PS4 since it needs to be plugged to one of the native usb ports. The Anker has good reviews Im planning on buying one of those this week.

I played in Local Lan with friends. We don't have internet at that time. We have to move our PC.

I just ordered this on Amazon and it should be here tomorrow. Only cost $15 and I got the longer cable. They had them at 11" & 47".
Long USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter, DuKabel ProSeries TRRS 4-Pole Mic-Supported USB to Headphone AUX Adapter Built-in Chip External Stereo Sound Card for PS4 PC [Metal Housing & Durable Braided]
I still can't believe that the HOTAS doesn't have a plug in for mic/headphones like the PS4 controllers.
Just got through all the training and Storyline. Trying to build up cosmetics points for a clan run. I do like playing both factions.

FYI...just confirmed that you can use the PS4 headset with the HOTAS connected to the PS4. Just connect the headphone to the bluetooth controller, it appears the PS4 will recognize both the controller and hotas when connected so you don’t loose any of the bluetooth controller’s functions including headphone/mic.

Just wanted to comment on the headset adapter that I ordered from Amazon. Hooked it up and I'm having no problems at all. You definitely want to get the longer cable or you'll be right on top of your console.
Having a blast with the game, trying to figure out my load outs for each ship right now. Paying attention to the kill cam to see what my opponents are doing, shields double front, weapons max stuff like that. If I could only get that drifting down, lol.
I put an invite to most of you in the game, I hope I didn't miss someone. If I did invite me. I'm on 3-4 a day and more on the weekend.

Anyone using rudder pedals with their HOTAS setup? I just got a sweet deal on T Flight pedals at FB marketplace.
