@Skids-n-EggsDude! I remember I convinced our parents to splurge on two 133MHz machines with Voodoo cards to make sure we could play the entire series. I also remembered how XvT struggled on these machines, along with our 56K modem lol. Good stuff.
For all of us from the old XvT/XW/TF days, what are your initial impressions?
Up front despite the bugs and the EA account launch issues, I am loving this. This is so worthy of the old games, and they got the throttle management and power configuration setting down. Not sure if you can macro for 1/3 power, 2/3 power (old throw back but everyone here should know it), because that would be clutch. I am still sort of figuring out the whole upgrade system, and I do wish you could manually configure your weapons pairings/settings, and while it is minute, I wish you could toggle S-foils (if I recall, XvT PvP this was a good tactic for tight spaces), but on the whole I can't complain.
HP Reverb arrives today, so we are in the thick of it from here on out.
Also, I saw there were a few 501sters on here! I was in 501 too!
