Anyone know how the Raid Points Leaderboard works?
My Guild planned a few weeks ahead to do what we've named a "Raid Rush" at the beginning of May. Basically, we may skip a Raid or 2 at the end of the Month in order to have enough Tickets to do a bunch of Raids on the 1st of the Month. The idea is to get to the top of the leaderboard and screenshot the * out of it asap, lol. Besides being a lot of fun, it brings the entire Guild together, gives us something to look forward to and a goal to accomplish as a group. Like I said, we have a lot of fun with it and have yet to get any negative feedback. It's our own little Event and this particular one was named "First on the 4th" by a long time Officer who really did an amazing job setting it up. 1st on the 4th means that we were going for the #1 Ranking on the Guild Leaderboard by May 4th. Turns out we got to 1st place on May 1st, way ahead of schedule. The Officers did a great job promoting it and all 50 members were on board from the start. As soon as we hit #1, everyone was taking screenshots, we had a few laughs and it felt like we accomplished something pretty cool together. You should try it if you haven't. It's really a no lose situation. But the reason for my post is because my Guild "The Event Hørizøn" got to 1200 Raid points faster than anyone. We were a few hours ahead of the next Guild to reach 1200, but for some reason, the Guild who tied us with 1200 points hours after us, took over our #1 Ranking and we dropped to #2. Then another Guild gets to 1200 and we drop again to 3rd place. It was maddening for awhile. In the grand scheme of things, I know it may seem trivial, but when you've planned, promoted, and got all 50 guys on the same page at the same time, it sucks to see that taken away without having any idea why. My Membership deserves better than that so I'd really like to get them an answer asap. Any help or info is greatly appreciated. Thx!
The screenshots are just proof that we were at 1200 first and how we get replaced by Guilds that got to 1200 a few hours after we did
