I was an imp bomber with rot guns and over and over a y wing head on always killed me. Even when i followed him shooting in back they just did nit bloody die. I assume this might have something to do with shields. I just wish this game was pure aim as the simulation it likes to claim it is should be.
Weapons with auto aim sacrifice half the damage. Anyone using it auto-loses any head on shootout.
- @court_jester77x I strongly disagree, if you are tailed by even a semi skilled player, the added guiding mechanism is just game breaking. You simply can't outmanoeuvre it fast enough. ( mainly referring to the guided rotary lasers)
- @court_jester77x Forgot to add that if you go head to head and try an evasive move against an opponent with guided weapons, again especially the rotary type, he will shred you.
- @MKh501 If you are getting tailed by bombers you have bigger problems than autoaim weapons. And why on earth would you want to do evasive moves head on against incoming damage that is already halved. Just go straight guns blazing and vaporize the guy.
- @court_jester77x I try avoiding head ons as I like to survive as long as possible. Also, if (hopefully) they add a hard core mode, head ons will be decided on which one fires first, possibly killing both as the instant you fire, you need to bank away and that is really tricky.
