Awings are cheaters

Seriously every time im losing every match now 17 in a row when there are more than 2 Awings -4 or 5 and the match is done in every PvP Dogfight

This is absurd ! Are they cheating or abusing the boost ?

The solution = 2 Awings MAXIMUM per match!

I saw people quiting midgame - cursing the Awings.

It seriously breaks my hearth that the NR Awing pilots are in such  a huge advantage.

  • @EH-RedBaron- you were just crying about this in chat log of a game we played together... They have been relentlessly nerfed. If you breathe on them, they die.

You also played as Awing when you were NR.

    To quote Eddie Vedder:
"If you hate something, don't you do it too."
  • @EH-RedBaron- they started messing up with the tweaks and ended up screwing the game. The TIE bomber nerf started all. Now the Empire is at a huge disadvantage when it comes to Fleet Battles. I have seen how easy it is for Rebels to get past the Star Destroyer defenses, but good luck for Imperial pilots to so the same on the enemy cruiser. You'll get smoked out by it's turrets in an instant.
  • I only put in the NR side because of a new friend invite.

It gave me a chance to check out why the Awing is superior to the Tie interceptor.

    1. Clear visibilty

    2. Accelleration

    3. Manoeuvres  are much much much quicker

Boosting with them is a whole new experience - faster sharper quicker than the Tie Interceptor.

I went to change the loadouts in exact the same specifications in training and in practice. An A-Wing will always outperform an Tie Interceptor.

No wonder no one can escape them or get them in sight.

Even at 1000m you have to point ahead where they are flying only to see them turn in 45 degrees with the speed of light and use their cunning manoeuvres at you and everyone is screwed. Let alone 3 or more Awings in a Dogfight.

The Tie Interceptor has a very weak hull just looking at them can kill them instantely so stop talking about Awings are quik to kill..they have shields.

A complain every Imp makes not only me.

  • tip, dont be a sitting duck.. its the biggest issue in the game, which is why there is drifting recharge and drifting advantages. i dont know what he devs were going for here, but its always going to have huge advantages and disadvantages because of the bottom line of the sitting duck rule, which is caused by  low max speeds and overlooked acceleration factors. i said it from the beginning when i started playing and it will be here till its passing. the boosting  drifts meta is fun, but cases the rest of the game to break as far as anything playable outside of dogfighting.

  • It's not that we are cheating, it's just that we are the bestest starfighter in the Galaxy and you must kneel before our technological superiority.

  • There should be a bonus tha accumalates players rack up high kills so that when you kill them (even once) you get a massive xp boost. They should be clearly called out at the begining of the match so that the opposing team can see it and then will focus on that player.

I would love a system where you could place a bounty to kill the player that killed you. So when the bounty is collected the player that was the target loses the amount of glory that was on the bounty. I might suggest this sparately!
