@KilroyWH78 I can not agree more. Actually, I think the interceptor should be designed with more mobility. Short firing range but more pwoerful.
increased mobility could lead to some balance issues, but with an increased top speed it might be necessary.
my idea is that with a higher top speed for the interceptor they could become a risky starfighter to fly in the process, kind of balancing itself with a higher chance to hit something or over shoot its targets. as for mobility increase, it could be a mod that comes at the expense of something, like, hull strength or max speed, perhaps acceleration even.
