BattleFront 1 - PC - Session is no longer available

Hello,

I am a college student who would like to play Star Wars BattleFront 1 with a friend. We both own the game on PC. The same runs smoothly for both of us, but we cannot play COOP together. When we try, we get the error message "session is no longer available". I cannot port forward since I do not have access to my college's router. How can I fix this?

    Any help would be appreciated. We can both connect to online multiplayer together, but we cannot play COOP together.
