Battlefront (1) PS4 offline - can't join to EA servers (Nov 2019, PS4 FW 7.0)

It is actually an update to other similar posts marked as "solved" because nothing from their "solutions" worked for me. Game shows my PSN avatar in the upper left corner, tries to connect to EA acc ...

Hey all,

We're getting word that this should now be resolved, can you try connecting again and let us know how you get on?

Echoing the same issues and frustrations. Battlefront II worked multiplayer earlier but since installing SWBF1 I have not been able to get it to login to EA no matter what steps I've tried

I have this as well. It's a deal breaker.
I was thinking of buying Battlefront II as well, but I won't be until this gets resolved ☹️

Having the same issue - do you have an estimated time until this is resolved? What is a reasonable expectation to wait?

  Of course nothing fkin changed... Other developers fix theese problems in a * hour not like EA. They just dont give a * on us... so typic

    Been trying to play this since Thursday, it's been 4 days and still no fix
    I honestly figured it would've been fixed by now, the game is literally UNPLAYABLE in this state. 😠
