Battlefront Audio Stuttering issue

@Z3R0B4NG thanks for the report. Could you please provide us some additional data about your system hardware? Stuttering issues like the one mentioned can be related to performance problems. Is the performance of the game fine and are you running Star Wars:Battlefront in windowed or fullscreen mode?

I seem to be having the same problem, on win 8.1 and using a Sound Blaster Audigy SE card.

Performance is not the issue, as I am running the game on 1080/high, using an fx 8300 and a 7970.

I tried fiddling with the sound options, but it doesn't make any difference.

seems reducing the audio quality in the driver settings helped,

i've had it on highest, now set it to lowest and it sounds fine, no audio stutter anymore.

gonna have to go through all the setting in between to know when it starts/stops.

still, this doesn't happen with BF4 or any of the other Frostbite Engine Games, so this is a bit odd and should be fixed if possible, i'm pretty sure my hardware should be able to handle 24bit and 192KHz (not that my ears really can tell the difference, but higher bitrate is higher bitrate, you know ;P )

same problem with an asus xonar DG, sorry my english is not optimal i will not enter in the details

update:

seems that ONLY the lowest setting works for me without problem = 16bit 44KHz

24bit 44KHz only seems to work at the start but in gameplay i can still hear some scratching and popping here and there

for information i just have to set  pcm 44.1khz on my asus xonar control panel to fix the issue, 

i  hope it will be fixed soon; and help people to fix it temporally !

I have this issue too. SB Audigy.

I am having a sound stuttering problem also, and also some of the time the sound seems to be sped up. Usually on music and voices. Blasters sound fine and so does the environment. The game is running smooth but the voice and music sound is either sometimes stuttering or at a fast pace. Using and Sound Blaster Audigy card. 

I also have this issue. It's not performance based for me, I have plenty of resources to go and the game runs smoothly (look at this example, it's a fair representation of the sound but it seems frame capped and extremely compressed, so it's not a reference for smoothness).

My setup is a virtual machine running on an arch linux host (which is not really relevant, I can run BF4 with no issues what so ever). The machine runs an i7 with 4 physical cores and 1 thread per core. It uses a virtual ac97 sound card with stereo output. It also runs a native nvidia graphics card. I'm running Windows 10.
