Battlefront Beta - Keyboard and Mouse Issues

Is this a laptop? And do you have integrated graphics with also a dedicated gpu?

I am having this problem and it is indeed a laptop with an integrated card but with a separate GPU 

Yes its a laptop with 2 graphic cards (Intel and Geforce GTX). I would start to search for issues on the graphics card etc,..but the fact that i can run the game perfectly with a controller tells me the game just cannot detect a keyboard or a mouse properly. And now is the question what do i do?

Good to know im not the only one.Are you using an ASUS ROG by any chance? thats what Im using.

 Im literally 5 hours searching for an answer to this issue and nothing found or responded that could help and im sure this is just a minor glitch since i play a PC installed game where i cannot run Mouse or Keyboard??????? But i can use Controller? What is this?

Sry but im at the end of my latin here. I never encountered something as weird as this before.

Have you tried not having your controller plugged in?  Try unplugging the game before you launch it, and then see if your mouse and keyboard works.  Some games do not like both connected, and once you use one, the other wont respond.

I have the same problem, except I have gotten the game to work twice but I honestly have no idea how I did it either time. I can't replicate it to get back into the game once I close it.
I have a laptop with AMD Switchable Graphics. The start screen has been sitting in the background while I use other programs and then I will notice it has gone into a smaller windowed mode (somehow) and then my keyboard and mouse work on it.
