Battlefront FPS Problems

While playing battlefront I noticed massive FPS drops on the Death Star DLC maps and on some Bespin maps, I was wondering if there is anything I can do to increase my FPS, and I know I'm not the only person with this problem.

These are my PC specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)

Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Startup Disk: Macintosh HD

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Built-in Display: 15.4-inch (2880 x 1800), what are some lower resolutions that would work?

  • Unfortunately in the Retina models of MacBooks Apple chose to glue everything in, the only thing I can replace is the hard drive. :/

Yes, that is the nature of a WinTel type laptop, as well!  Laptops have a number of convenient features; for gaming, however, a desktop beats a laptop hands down.  Less expensive over the long haul, kinder to the environment, easy to work on, etc.

battle front grahpics are not that demanding unless you have a minimum card like mine for 100% native res and scaling. i have a gtx 750 and "optimised stettings" are all on low. i just play a 1600 res with 75% scaling and i turn up the graphics full blast getting over 60 fps even in crowds
