@McDuble33download the latest patch 1.04 and finish that fight arena. once you leave on the Mantis and land at your next planet. turn off the console and reload - BD1 should return
DICE Team@EA_Atic Same for me, switching planets does not help. I am no programming expect, but it kinda feels like BD-1 was not properly re-initialised(perhaps his position was not reset and he got stuck somewhere?) after some specific death circumstances. Since you can still hear him, but cannot directly interact with him.
There's no way I'll start another game. Too far in and afraid that one of the other game-breaker bugs will get me the next time around. Ugh... sick of broken games.

Yep. Same thing for me. I went to the underground jail after completing the game. One of the bounty hunters got me while roaming around trying to clean up the map. I got there, and the puzzles were still all solved from the first time in the actual story. Went to get bd1 and he is stuck on the workbench in his cell like a prop. Went to do the arena battle. Beat it. Got on my ship, and the planets map is glitched. I enter the travel screen and can’t travel and can’t exit out of the screen. Bd1 still won’t load. Had to quit and restart ps4. Still nothing. My save is broken. I’ll play new game plus eventually, but I really don’t want to have to gather all those collectibles all over again. How can I fix this? Is my save file just done?
