@McDuble33download the latest patch 1.04 and finish that fight arena. once you leave on the Mantis and land at your next planet. turn off the console and reload - BD1 should return

Summarize your bug Pressing the key to use healing does not work and holomap won't pop up when asked either. BD1 also will not appear on dialogues or cutscenes where characters are supposed to interact with it, or in animations like opening crates around the map.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure. BD1 has not worked since I met him in the tutorial area.
What happens when the bug occurs? Actions related to the droid (holomap, healing) do not work at all.
What do you expect to see? BD1 working properly.
As stated above, BD1 is dead in my game.
I have same problem, but my BD1 disappeared after the Jail map.
Same here. Right after getting into the fighting arena. BD-1 disappears. Pretty much makes the game unplayable from there on, and I've found no way of being able to revert this
@BaronMouthsI have the exact same problem. I think you need to start over. RIP 8 hours of gameplay.
The problem for me is, that i lost BD in the jail mission, and i have 15+ hours played so i have no plans on starting a new game. Thanks for the answer though.

At least another save file would be so damn usefull in this case
@ApolloTheHelios Respawn is owned by EA.. clearly they don't playtest their games.
