@byatch06 the issue is worsened by the fact staff members are not replying to anything with some information.
Nothing at all is being said. More frustrating that I find nothing but rave reviews for the game on the mainstream. This is not my experience. My game file is corrupted and missing a key component in the experience. I cant complete my game. The ones experiencing this bug cannot finish. We at least need acknowledgment from the devs that we are being heard and this is being looked into.

How did you guys get past Fight Club without re-obtaining BD-1? This is really important to understanding how this bug occurs and hence how to fix it. In theory you need to go up an elevator to get to the arena, and the elevator cannot be activated without using BD-1's Overcharge ability. The intended flow is that you find and rescue BD-1 first, and then proceed to the arena.
I think that we may be able to patch in a fallback fix for if you somehow complete the fight club arena without BD-1, to restore him to you at that point. I will raise that as a possible solution.

Eventually, the elevator itself glitched and allowed me to enter the arena and subsequently complete it without BD1..
At that point, I hadn't realised that BD1 was actually meant to reappear before the arena.
Can't the intended solution for those who have completed the arena, and subsequently went to another planet be that BD1 is somehow respawned into the game at a rest point..?

@ReaGangz Yes, I think that's a good fallback solution that I'll definitely propose. Still want to really understand the initial bug too though 🙂 Did you just stand on the elevator and eventually it started moving? Were you using the power switches at all? Had you explored and found BD-1 somewhere else yet or seen any cutscenes? - 6 years ago
@DaveRespawnAcct eventually after multiple deaths, the elevator just randomly moved up to the arena.. before that, I was inserting and removing the various power switches in the elevator room, to no avail of course.
I didn't find BD1 at all. Tbh, I didn't realise until after completing the arena without the Droid, and going to another planet, that BD1 was actually scripted to return to you at some point during the jail section..
If the elevator hadn't randomly glitched, I would probably still be stuck in the jail section.

@ReaGangz In order to die multiple times, were you jumping off ledges and taking fall damage in order to die? Was that before or after trying various power switches? Did you quit and reload the game at all during that process? - 6 years ago
@DaveRespawnAcct To begin with I messed around with the various power switches for about 30 minutes.. that didn't work and the elevator was not moving.
So I figured there might be a slight glitch, so I decided to jump off into the bottomless pits at the beginning of the jail section, until I died and could respawn..Did this multiple times without success, until the elevator eventually just glitched and moved up to the arena.
From the beginning of the jail section, I think BD1 had vanished from the game and couldn't be rescued.
And,no, I didn't quit or reload the game.

@ReaGangz Thanks, I think I just figured out how to reproduce this bug! Cheers for all the information! - 6 years ago
@DaveRespawnAcct no problem !
Should we expect a patch for those who completed the arena without BD1, soon..?

@ReaGangz I cannot promise how long it will take to put together a patch to fix this issue. To be honest, you could probably get back to this point in the game much quicker than the time it takes to put a patch through the console patch approval process. So yes, I WOULD expect a patch, but I cannot promise that it will be very soon -- sorry about that. If you want to get back to enjoying the game, I would recommend blasting through Story Mode to get back to this point, and then finding BD-1 before you proceed with the elevator puzzle. Definitely don't go up the elevator without finding BD-1 first. - 6 years ago
.
- 6 years ago@ReaGangz I had exactly the same problem, after jumping off into the bottomless pits at the beginning of the jail section I was able to get the elevator working then after the arena fight I traveled to another planet and is when I realized BD-1 was not with me, I tried everything you guys said. Then I started looking forums and that how I got here.

So after digging a little more in other sites found out that there is a way to recover the droid but also there is a way to complete the mission without it, to me sounds like a bug because then there is no way to go back and recover it.
- 6 years ago@DaveRespawnAcct Hi I just wanted to give an update on the issue. I just noticed that a patch of some sort was pushed on Origin. Just letting you know that the issue was unaffected by it. That's all.

You just described EXACTLY what just happened to me in this jail part...
- 6 years ago@DaveRespawnAcct I don’t know about everyone else, but I looked everywhere for like an hour and couldn’t find BD1. The game did not register any way of moving on. So I assumed the elevator was the only way. So I plugged in cables in a specific order and it turned on. Only the right side was functioning normally but the elevator just turned on.

I don't recall using BD1 to open anything once I was captured. I just remember that once I got to the arena, he was not with me and it was damn near impossible to beat. I had to lower my settings from Jedi Master mode down to storytelling just so I could survive on the one health. BD1 has been gone ever since. Though it appears he is still with me but invisible. He won't bring up the map, heal me or overcharge anything but if I open a chest, he appears to dive in and retrieve the item. At any rate, I am stuck and cannot proceed.

This is exactly what happened to me also. I was going crazy plugging in switches and then it just worked..having done nothing different.
- 6 years ago@shaddupmeg Are you able to go back to Bodano? Some people had some luck finding him there.
This is insane. I can’t believe this has happened to other people as well. In a way, I’m happy that a number of us are having the same issue. I literally have the exact same issue as the person who has started this thread.
After respawning, going back to BD-1’s cave to hopefully retrieve him time and time again, I decided to just beat the arena by lowering the difficulty in hopes that BD-1 would just magically appear in the cinematics during story mode. Nope. He’s no where. And now I’m on the next planet without him.
Some have made the suggestion that we simply start over. There’s no way in hell im starting over. Fix the bug or I want my money back. This is unacceptable.

jhc Dude just stop no one Cares. Just downloaded a patch hopping that they fixed it, but no... iv already started a new game and am almost caught up to where I was so I don’t care any more.

This same situation just happened to me!!! I made it through the underground prison without bd1 and now i can go no further with out him. Is there any solution to this or am i just going to have to start completely over?
