@McDuble33download the latest patch 1.04 and finish that fight arena. once you leave on the Mantis and land at your next planet. turn off the console and reload - BD1 should return

Summarize your bug Pressing the key to use healing does not work and holomap won't pop up when asked either. BD1 also will not appear on dialogues or cutscenes where characters are supposed to interact with it, or in animations like opening crates around the map.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure. BD1 has not worked since I met him in the tutorial area.
What happens when the bug occurs? Actions related to the droid (holomap, healing) do not work at all.
What do you expect to see? BD1 working properly.
As stated above, BD1 is dead in my game.
Literally game breaking, lost him after the jail mission. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!

Same here. Did found a way to get him back. Had to start a new game ☹️
At least another save file would be so damn usefull in this case
@HRPY if Respawn have any credibility, they'd be fixing this glitch ASAP..
You should have really waited a while before starting a new game, in case it pops up again.

I did just fine with starting new game! Except it was pretty boring to playthrough the same quests. Also I noticed that you can loose BD-1 when droid is going to a place where it is able to scan something and when you quickly run away you can loose your droid. To get him back you need to go to that place again and he will jump on your back.
Also I've tried to find a way to reproduce the issue again consistantly but didn't manage. maybe it depends on the merc who abushes you (second time I was abushed by the bounty droid near the underground elevators of Zeffo).
