  • @A_Ginger_Cat I would not mind having new Factions added into the game if the Community agrees to it.

I do not understand what you mean by Boarding of ships though, could you clarify?
  • Landing ur ship onto a flagship or capital ship.. ju.ping out of ur ship an going to town on inside of the ship

@A_Ginger_Cat Okay, but I doubt that would happen given the Genre of this game unless EA decides to be very Generous and Creative about it.
  • To be honest, I really don’t want other eras in this game.

”But SuperSpyUU, I want my Clone Wars!”

This game doesn’t need more eras with each having mediocre content, it needs one era with very good content.

“Why would you say this Super? I though you liked The Clone Wars!”

While yes, this is true, there are many problems with prequel era ships.

For one, first person droid fighters would be strange, and two, there would be no pilots for the CIS, as the Vultures, Hyenas, and Tri-Fighters were all autonomous, and didn’t require pilots.

”I now see your point, and agree that Squadrons should stay with OT content”

I’m glad you agree, unnamed voice that I used to  relay my opinion in a creative way.

Also the boarding wouldn’t really make much sense, as this is a starfighter piloting game after all, and boarding the enemy capital ship wouldn’t really stick with that genre.

  • Needs something 2 games it has can get very repitive.. I see what u mean abput the pilots for cis.. boarding would make sense because u u can damage inside and out of the ship to blow it up.. only really work if it was like a galactic war.. where ud have flag ships a capitol ship and have it like 20 v 20 kinda thing ai or players.. or even coop missions

  • Ofcourse that would great if al you did is make a successful boarding, but this is not that kind of game and I doubt ever could be under this development.

What I can say, is that a level conquest would be doable. As you would finish a level win, then board for a light speed to another battle that is in need of your assistance. your squad is highly recalled as a shifty crew and highly regarded for success..  these maps and scenarios can be random based on staging and previous map setting which at times just unwinnable as you would fight to nearly survive or help an escape for your vessel. These levels can go on till you reach a win point, but you only get five pilots. Once a pilot dies in combat, You need to use another till all five are lost in combat and the game is lost.  Most likely this can only be done in single player of two player co-op.

Agreed, and the second is just mind numbing. I really need to stop coming here. They want to tack on another game genre to a finished game, for which no further development is planned.  That's what people asked for with Elite Dangerous, and what did they get? Another game, with a tacked on fake VR FPS mode, as space legs.

Just be thankful that Motive DID dedicate themselves to doing one thing right, instead ambitiously trying to make nothing. Because that's what a game like you're asking for would end up as.

Nothing. Nada. Cancelled, and the dev team unemployed. EA has cancelled more Star Wars games than they have actually released. Let's be thankful that for once gamers were driving the ship in the early stages, making the game THEY wanted to play, rather than suits with dollar signs for eyes.
