I love this game
it needs to succeed because it nailed star wars space battles...
i get what the OP is saying in terms of support. The first few months are crucial to catch/maintain interest.
They need rewards/cosmetics/content with either maps/ships etc
I think the whole "we're not creating DLC" stance will change if the game reaches sufficient levels of popularity.
Or at least I hope so, the game certainly won't stand the test of time if there's nothing to bring players back further down the line.
It is refreshing to get a game released thats actually complete for a change though, it seems to be far too common for half complete games to be released these days, I won't give any examples but I'm sure you all can think of a few. ;p
- @MandatoryIDtag whatever EA said is moot. If there is enough discernable interest, a high enough and maintained playerbase, and enough clamouring from said player base to the EA community managers to roll out additional maps/vehicles/modes whatever... into PAID DLC, then no EA exec will turn that opportunity down.
