Broken Hutt Contract (PC): Slugthrower unlocked but still locked in hutt contrac

Hutt contract scattergun I not working. Have unlocked this stard card but Hutt contracts does not recognize this and still shows as locked even though it shows I have done the tasks. Was told by EA support this would be rectified in latest patch but it hasnt. Cannot complete slugthrower II contract as I cant use the scattergun to do it! Frustrating to say the least....
