Broken Smoke, Sun Rays, etc

Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug All sun rays, fog, smoke, mist, etc, does not display properly on epic settings, it goes from various shades of blue and green to black blotches that block out view
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Smoke effects, Sun rays, mist, fog, and most other particle effects are either big black blotches, green blotches, or a blue green blotch.
What do you expect to see? Proper shaders that don't break these effects

Some are not my images but this is the exact issue, will update images in link as I take more screenshots

All drivers are up to date, every setting is on Epic, todays patch did nothing to resolve this though I doubt that patch had anything to do with attempting to resolve graphical bugs

To anyone having this issue on Nvidia GPUs, I found a solution until the developers patch this issue. I have tried many different avenues of testing trying to fix this even going as far as nuking my computer and only having the needed drivers on my PC and Jedi Fallen Order which still did not resolve the issue. In order to "fix" the problem until it gets patched you will need to use Nvidia Control Panel, Once you have opened Nvidia control panel click the Help dropdown at the top of the window, in this list click debug mode to put the GPU into debug mode, this is the only game that needs debug mode enabled, and out of all the posts I have seen it is only affecting certain 1080 variants of various brands which makes me believe that the game has an issue with these 1080s and will require more work to figure out what is causing the issues

  • I'm having the same problem. I've found a temporary fix: when this problem occurs, go to a meditation spot and sit down (no need to do something else).

Or oftentimes it is temporarily gone when I open the new photo mode and look around a bit.

  • I just bought and installed this game - and this is an issue I am facing. It makes the game look horrible and the blue rain and smoke make the gameplay horrible. I'm running a GTX 1070

  • This fixed the problem with the blue smoke but for some reason the game now randomly disables y-axis of my mouse. I have to exit to the menu and do some random stuff and hope it starts working again
