cal will not grab rope when leaving Mikrull temeple

Help spent 2 days trying to get cal to catch rope on leaving Mikrull Temple ,I force pull rope loose then wall run and jump hit rope with cals face and fall to death, 2 wall run jump press e rope hits cal in face and falls to death 2 days of wall run short long fast with sprint and normal run press e,press 3, press 1, press 2 got my son to try it he spent an hour trying and gave up so I do not think it is me but maybe I am missing something like a parachute or jet pack ,been back through temple no way out there so back to run jump face plant rope and fall to death start again. WHAT AM I MISSING HELP
