For those of you running into this in the future, you don’t need to uninstall / reinstall the game, you just need to validate / repair your game.
If you bought the game through Steam:
- Right click on the game in your Library
- Navigate to the game’s Properties
- Click Installed Files
- Click Validate Game Files
It will take a few minutes to run the validation.
If you bought the game through the EA App, you’ll need to repair the game from within the EA App.
