The easy option is VR. If you wanted to take it a step further you could position the stick and other controls in the same location as they are in the cockpit (I think people have done this in Elite Dangerous). Nothing could beat that as you would be able to look around inside your cockpit and still feel the joystick etc
- 5 years ago@RuStyMoNkeY96 Good idea, but in my opinion, nothing beats the real deal, which I will hopefully build
- 5 years ago@HaydenTheGordon @RuStyMoNkeY96 Both ideas are valid, but I’ve noticed a problem with both: with VR, unless everything is perfectly placed it’ll distort the reality completely. And with the real build, how would looking around the cockpit in game be like? That’d be sure to cause some disruption...
- 5 years ago@HCarbonic The plan for the real build is to build a rather big projection screen that is curved around the cockpit, so to look around, you would just tilt your head.

This is why im praying EA does the right thing and supports HOTAS on ps4 as well and not just for pc users.
that wouldn't be fair anyway it would give PC Universe users an unfair advantage over console players in a crossplay game!
