Cannot obtain Force Pull - stuck in Tomb of Mikrull on Zeffo
Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Summarize your bug Upon arrival at platform that allows access to the area that provided the Force Pull ability, discovered that the chain holding the suspended sphere had already fallen to the ground below, thus preventing me from continuing.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? See Description Below
What happens when the bug occurs? Was able to complete the Raise the Spire of Mikrull quest prior to using the suspended sphere to cross over to the area needed to get the Force Pull ability, thus locking me from continuing further in the game.
What do you expect to see? The suspended sphere still in place upon arriving at the necessary platform
When I arrived at the platform adjacent to where the suspended sphere was supposed to be, I noted that it had already fallen to the ground below, which prevented me from crossing to the adjacent platform. Believing that was how things were supposed to be, I dropped down to ground level and pushed the sphere into place, thus allowing me to ascend up the elevator to the Imperial Headquarters. However without the Force Pull ability I could proceed no further, and with the sphere down I was unable to backtrack and gain the necessary ability.
What I believe happened was this - prior to heading to the platform, and after opening the shortcut to the platform with the burning vines using the flame spheres from across the gap,, I was messing around with the those same flame spheres to try and burn off the vines around the chest just below the platform (the one on the same level as the Tomb Guardian that doesn't attack). While using Force Push I sent some spheres careening around that upper platform and must have accidentally broke the chain holding the suspended sphere with them. However, when I finally advanced further and noticed the sphere on the ground, I just assumed that was a part of the game and continued on, rather than resetting to an earlier save in order to use the suspended sphere platform to cross.
Interestingly enough, if I look at my map it still shows the suspending sphere up high where it needs to be for me to cross. Closing and resetting the game did not resolve the problem. Apparently my only solution is to start a new game. Thank goodness for Story Mode.
- @Justisen Solution was to just restart the entire f****g game, and start all over!
