I certainly could be wrong but there were a few moments during quests when I was truly befuddled at how to move on. The Youtube vids for that mission should show how its done exactly. All I can say is sometimes the combination of push/pull + then slow are needed together. Typically when jumping over pistons, the slow spell and good timing are all that's needed (slowin the pistons at the perfect moment to allow an opening to jump through).
I'd check out the vids and see if there's something you can do differently, if it was a bug I imagine many more would be stuck there. Good luck jedi!
