Cannot scan "Creature" 2/2 on Bogano

Summarize your bug Can't scan the second creature entry on Bogano despite standing right in front of the spot (nearby chair facing the creature).
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Stand right in front of the scan location for the second creature entry.
What happens when the bug occurs? No scan prompt appears, pressing the scan button does nothing.
What do you expect to see? Should be able to scan the creature, fulfilling creature entry number two.
I have attempted to leave the planet and restart the game. The prompt still does not appear. It is not possible to 100% complete the game.
I had to stand almost on top of the chair (see attached screenshot), for about 30 seconds or so before Bee D1 jumped down and I could scan him.
Took a long time, but it did show up eventually.
