Can't complete Fleet Battle Tutorial

Same issue here on PS4. Destroyed all subsystems, but the destroyer just sits at 1HP and never takes any further damage and therefore the tutorial cannot be completed. I actually never even received any further prompts or pings from NPCs after the part where it explained about the Morale requirement for pushing forward and how players are worth more points than AIs. So I was a bit lost as well because I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or not. Very frustrating since there is a reward/unlock for completing the tutorial but I cannot complete it. 

Have also heard from others who experienced the glitch even if they did not die.
