After multiple attempts, it finally worked. Not sure if it played out on it's own or if me holding the dive button(which I did on previous attempts) did anything. Either way, if you're having the same problem, it can work but it'll take some luck.
Tried your method, for about 30 minutes pressing the dive button just off the ramp and nothing. So what exactly did you do to get it to work? Am using PC+Xbox Controller.
