we're working on a fix for this. fix didn't get submitted in-time for today's patch 1.04, but it will be in the next one. returning to the area with an open chest will count it
Yeah, this is really anoying. Thought it was my fault, I never do online walkthroughs but thanks to this bugg I had to...and yeah, its not my fault, its Respawn. These kinds of errors shouldnt even be possible on this gen, Im on ps4 Pro.
Can confirm this happened to me and 4 out of my 8 other friends who played it, the difference is that they are not going for the platinum so they dont care, while I'm doing the plat as a fanfare to this absolutely fantastic gem of a game, too bad there was a bugg like this... Could have been perfect.
Please fix this Respawn, its ridiculous. And thank you for a truly amazing story and game! A story that I believe is even better than any of the new star wars movies of this new Gen.

Can we please get some kind of news regarding this issue EA? Been waiting for the fix for awhile now...
They said that the patch is under some kind of evaluation on EA and Sony and those will release it early next week, I stoped playing entirely because of this dumb bug, this is a tremendous oversight by the Q&A team, but judging from how many bugs this game has my guess is that they actually never had a Q&A team to begin with...
I love the game though, its incredible and to me, even though its a buggy mess, its the best Star Wars game I have ever played and Ive played them all. Tremendous game and story, cant wait for DLC and a sequel.
