Clans, Clans, Clans!
I skipped Battlefront II because of the lack of any meaningful support for clans to engage in real competitive gameplay in Battlefront I. In fact, some sections of the community were biased *against...
Bad news...
Idiots.
Absolute idiots. Such a simple thing to have a customisable clan tag. Can only conclude that EA is dead against clans.
@oxRoguExo I wouldn't go so far to call them idiots.
This is not a triple A game for a start and I can see a ton of their budget has gone towards VR, which ultimately takes budget away from other features.
I feel clan tags alone are relatively useless if they don't combine with many other features such as leaderboards etc, and from what I know so far it's not heavily focused on multiplayer. As I've mentioned before, this is the Star Wars equivalent of DOOM, played for the campaign not the multiplayer (Without the Rip n Tear, more Lock n Load).
This looks like small experiment!
My .02 - Blaming VR in anyway for a lack of Clan support is ridiculous - they are mutually exclusive. Keep in mind, that Its likely this game would never have seen the light of Day had it not been for the VR component, as it was part of the original pitch at EA (Fulfilling the original promise of a fully built game from the PSVR Xwing Pilot component from the Battlefront 1 xwing Demo)
I do agree with others though. Where is the Clan Tag functionality? We should have that for Launch for a game the demands we play with 5 others in a tightly coordinate squadron. .
