First thing I tried but doesn’t make a difference for me, unfortunately.

Everyone has the stutter in VR or when using a display with a refresh rate of over 60hz, its been a problem since day 1. Those people not noticing the issue were more than likely firmly in reprojection (ASW / Motion Smoothing always on) and hence their game ran at 60hz or lower reprojecting up to 80/90/120hz, so the stutter was not noticeable. EA are aware of the problem and are looking to fix it, until a patch releases there is no magical fix or a set of options you can enable / disable in order to work around the problem, so it's not worth wasting your time on 'supposed' work arounds - the very best you can do is permanently enable ASW / Motion Smoothing in order to minimise the stutter (but you will see blur) while you wait for a patch.

has anyone tried out OTHER VR games ? or played VR stuff recently ?
After I got back to VR with my Quest on my RTX2070S and had these issues with squadrons, I noticed that all other VR games start to stutter after 5 minutes into the game, just as squadrons does.
I rolled back nvidia drivers to previous versions I had in times of stable VR, didnt help. Even if it did, Squadrons doesnt run with these old Nvidia drivers.
There is an application called opencomposite, allowing games to be played without SteamVR ( I have squadrons bought at STEAM ).
It doesnt support Squadrons, but other games, and the stuttering appears as well, so I tend to claim its not STEAMVR related.
Disabling aynchrononous WarpSpace with Oculus Debug tool didnt help as well.
The devug tool also states that despite the stuttering there are no frames lost.
I wonder what could cause this problem. Some Windows 10 update from the last 3 months ?

I have the original VIVE. The only other game i had stuttering in was No Mans Sky. Everything is smooth until I look around. Then anything in the foreground like a menu or inside the cockpit has a "Stutter / Ghosting" making this game unplayable in VR unless i Never move my head to look anywhere. I have tried every "fix" people have suggested in multiple forums with NO improvement at all. Funny enough, When i first started to play the game in story mode, the first mission was smooth and after that, it was stutterville. Same goes for multiplayer. I didn't buy this game to play it outside of VR.
