Just ran into this problem today after everything working just fine after launch. The only thing that changed was that I updated to the latest nVidia drivers (released on 11/26/19). I would basically be able to launch the game, but as soon as I got to the mail title screen with menu options the video would start flickering for maybe about 5-10 seconds and then the signal between my card and monitor would be lost and the monitor would start cycling through inputs until finally giving up.
I changed the following which seems to have fixed it. I had to change the settings in the nVidia experience application, but here's what I changed:
Old value: 2560x1080
New value: 3440x1440 (this is my native resolution)
Old value: Full Screen
New value: Full-Screen Borderless
I think the game had problems switching to full screen and that's what caused the issue, but not 100% sure. So, might or might not fix other issues but thought I would share what worked for me.
Just saw a new update for the game but in the patch notes there was no mention of any fixes for any major bugs such as this. Any updates for us EA??? I’d really love to get back to playing this game

Please fix the bug...EA

I suspect this has something to do with Unreal Engine 4. I’ve done further research and found that many people have this issue with any game running this engine. I recently purchased Mordhau and although the crashes aren’t as frequent it still happens.

Still no response from EA... It'd be nice to at least get an update even if it's to say you haven't made any progress; it would be nice to know that you haven't forgot about everybody who has this issue. Still haven't played the game since... might just try to get my money back at this point. Sad because this is a really awesome game
