Controller confused for Flightstick

@AlbieTomI'm having the same problem with a Logitech Rumblepad. I tried the emulation suggested by the commenter here but I wasn't able to get it to work.

I hope EA issues a game update to fix this; the Rumblepad and PS4 controllers are pretty mainstream as far as gamepads go so it is really strange that the game doesn't recognize them correctly out of the box. My friend is using an Xbox 360 controller and that seems to be working fine for him but I would like to avoid buying a 2nd gamepad just for this game.
