controllers aren't working at all i have a ps5 controller ps4 controller and a generic gamepad. I did everything and im so done with this. adding the game to steam wont load the controller. disabling alll overlays except steam. still doesn't work

I've got an issue with my PS5 controller on PC.
The game recognizes the PS5 controller as an XBOX controller which is inconvenient because of the in-game prompts. Whereas the controller is properly recognized by STEAM itself.
And btw a friend of mine is playing the game using his PS4 controller which works flawlessly.
I've enabled "PS controller support" in the General Controller Settings and it's fully recognized by steam as a PS5 controller.
Does anyone know how to make the game recognize the controller properly? I tried to use DS4Windows but it's not helping at all. It still shows my PS5 controller as an XBOX controller
Community Managerhi im having a problem where the ps5 controller dosnt work on jedi fallen order. ive opened fifa 21 and need for speed and the controller works fine in both games, ive also tried using an xbox controller on fallen order which works. so it tells me for some reason the ps5 controller isnt supported please fix this ASAP as my xbox controller has major drift issues so its not the best experiance.
i know this problem is minor but honnestly the fix shouldnt be too hard as it allready has controller support just not for ps5 duel sense

i have also posted a similar problem. it looks like its exclusive to play station controllers. my xbox one controller works fine but the ps5 controller dosnt do anything, even though it works fine on other origin games launched via origin (fifa 21 need for speed)

I am having this exact same problem. It pisses me off because this post was initially made 6 months ago, and EA hasn't done anything to fix the problem. They probably haven't even looked at this to be quite honest.
