10 years agoCPU Temperatures
Back when the beta came out, on my pc (Mini-Itx build with stock fans and stock CPU cooler) i remember the game running around at high 60 to mid 70 C's (CPU) when playing on Hoth. My questions are: ...

".... How is 68-69 C not acceptable? This is a safe temp to be at and won't cause any problems. "
It seems you used to work with Laptops where 80 degrees CPU is high but normal temperature.
Each processor series have unique idle and high temperature parameters.
Check the attached PrintScreen from AMD official site. That is why 68-69 C is unacceptable.
As I sad 65 C is in Red Zone for my Phenom 2 x6 1100T.
Sure I put out any overclock while testing the temperature ~ 2 degress diffrence in other games. Not much.
Temperature in SWBF doesn't stop rising. I am sure it won't stop on 69 C if I let it work more.

"But, intensive graphical games like SWBF will contribute to excessive hot air in your box from your graphics hardware."
GPU temp is ~59-60 C in SWBF and my Aerocool Strike-X case with multiple well-tuned vents does good airflow.
This can't be a problem.
Anyway, I got your point. It is just CPU intensive game.
I'll think about Water Cooling and new Processor as well. But I should also think over if I need to make changes for just only 1 game while every other games (maybe even more CPU oriented) work well.
"May the Force be with you"
Please give us a note with your max CPU Temperature in SWBF and your CPU model.
Just for statistics.
Dear All,
I solved my problem.
It was CPU Voltage in Bios. Forgot to turn it back after overclock. Now temp is not higher 52C.
I am very Sorry. Please forgive me EA.
